In this blog, I’m telling the stories that my staff and I experience every day at the High School of Language and Innovation in the Bronx.
I started teaching English in the New York City Public School system in 2000. In 2011, I became the founding principal of the High School of Language and Innovation, a new school that serves newcomer English Language Learners. We had our first graduating class in June 2015.
Classroom 325 is a small classroom that used to be my office, where I originally thought of starting this blog.
